Bono wants to end AIDS in Africa. Brad Pitt is rebuilding New Orleans. And George Clooney is fighting to end the genocide in Darfur. I believe that celebrities have a fundamental responsibility to leverage their fame to aid the greater good.

That is why I support Brett Michaels, the front man for the 80’s rock band Poison and star of the reality TV series the Rock of Love for petitioning the Planters Food Company to bring back the Cheez Balls.

Four years ago, Planters discontinued the cheez ball and since then I’ve found that the puffs, the curls, and the doodles don’t pack the same cheesy goodness that Planters captured with their simple little orange ball.

So if you’re like me and you miss that mouth watering cheesy explosion, then I encourage you to click on the cheez ball picture above, and submit your name to Brett’s online petition.
