Don’t worry, this isn’t going to be one of those long drawn out sentimental rants about how I’ve lost my childhood. Because the truth is I hated being a kid. There was nothing fun about growing up in a divorced family with two older sisters whose sole source of entertainment was dressing me up in their clothes and taking pictures.
For me Saturday morning cartoons were my one chance to escape into a fantasy world where my adolescent problems didn’t exist.
Which is why I was slightly disturbed and slightly turned on to stumble across a website called Sexy Cartoon Porn. The site takes your favorite cartoon characters and places them in a full on XXX porn shoot.
It’s here on this site that you realize that the reason Marge Simpson is still with Homer is because he’s hung. Inspector Gadget has a serious secret agent device we’ve never seen before, and Thelma from Scooby Doo ditched her geeky ways, got breast implants, and unleashed her inner slut.
I admit, in an extremely perverse way, the site is sort of funny. But at the same point I think that it’s a shame that in today’s society the most innocent things like cartoons are so easily corrupted. Especially when I know there are kids out there like I used to be, who need those outlets to escape to.
Well, at least they have their Play Station games like Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty 4.
