Spring Cleaning
Last week, a Japanese man who had been puzzled by food mysteriously disappearing from his refrigerator got a shock when he found out a woman had been living in his home for months without permission.
The 57-year-old man living alone - or so he thought - in the western city of Fukuaka Japan installed a security camera and called the police when he saw images of someone walking around his home while he was out.
When the police came they found the woman had snuck a mattress into his closet and had been living there for almost a year.
Considering I never lock my door, the first thing I did when I returned from New York last night, was open my closet and begin to clean it out.
I found all sorts of things, a suitcase I hadn’t unpacked from my trip to Amsterdam over a year ago, my high school diploma, a bowling ball, a box of astro-glide that got sent to the gay guy who used to live in my apartment, two hundred dollars, car keys I thought I lost, but unfortunately no matter how hard I looked, there was no woman.
