An Inconvenient Truth
I don’t like Governor Sarah Palin. The thought of having another right wing, evangelical Christian back in the White House living her life by the motto Guns, God, and the American Way just isn’t for me. I think about it and I get sick to my stomach. But that being said, I’ve come to the conclusion that no matter what I do, it’s a lose-lose situation. At some point, Sarah Palin will become President of The United States. It is an inevitability.
If McCain wins the presidency then she’s the obvious next in line candidate. But if McCain loses the election, and Barack wins then the Republican Party will need to find their next political rock star.
And the truth is that after this election Sarah Palin will emerge from this as a household name. And because the Republican Party needs to show that they’re not the party of old white men, they’ll spend the next 8 years molding, shaping, and coaching Governor Palin until she is transformed into the right wing rock star they want her to be.
And while I might disagree with what Sarah Palin stands for I do recognize that Sarah Palin has what the Republican Party wants, a vagina and a gun.
