The Week

A lot of things happened this week. Yahoo laid off fifteen hundred people. The stock market continued to tank. San Francisco made a move to legalize prostitution. And India joined the space race by launching an unmanned spacecraft into outer space. But this week’s 365 Award has to go to Sarah Palin who came under fire for buying one hundered and fifty thousand dollars worth of clothing at Neiman Marcus.

Sarah Palin’s wardrobe came under fire this last week when a complaint was filed to the US Federal election commission, the group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington argued that Republicans violated caampaign finance rules when they spent $150,000 on clothes for Palin and her family.

The purchases came from a joint account, controled by both national Republicans and John McCain’s campaign. At issue is whethere the “personal use” ban on buying clothes with campaign money.

In my opinion, the wardrobe purchase was the first right move the Republicans have made in 8 years. I mean seriously, that whole naughty librarian look is hot. I mean really hot.
