Seasonal Drinking

2058.jpg
I’m a seasonal drinker. I drink vodka from April till December. And then I drink scotch from December till April.

Now, I haven’t always been a seasonal drinker. I admitt, I used to just drink vodka all year round. After all, it’s cool, refreshing, and goes down like water. But in the winter it just doesn’t provide the extra kick of warmth you need. Which is why I drink scotch, bourbon, whiskey, or any other brown.

Of course there is a downfall to me drinking the browns. It makes me angry. And I don’t know how it happens or why it happens, but after three glasses of scotch I want to throw my glass at someone’s head.

Fortunately tonight, I’m by myself. I just cracked a new bottle of Oban and I’m kicking off the season.

It’s a holiday party. Me, myself, and my booze.

Cheers!
