The Week

artcialellaphiladelphiapd.jpg A lot of things happened this week. Christmas came and went. Retailers reported their worst holiday sales in over 40 years. A man dressed in a Santa Claus suit blew the face off a little girl at a holiday party. And over two hundred people were killed in the Gaza strip when Israeli forces launched an assault against Hamas militants. But this week’s 365 Award goes to James Joseph Cialella.

Earlier today in a Philadelphia movie theater, James Joseph Cialella who was attending a screening of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button staring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett became enraged when a family sitting in front of him refused to stop talking.

According to authorities, Cialella threw his tub of popcorn at the son, and then a moment later shot the father in the arm. Cialella was carrying a Kel-Tec .380 caliber handgun clipped inside his sweatpants. He was arrested, taken into custody, and charged with attempted murder.

Personally, I just hope that the shooting will keep all those other people who sit through the movie and ask dumb questions, talk on their cellphones, and laugh when they shouldn’t laugh to finally keep their mouths shut and watch the movie.

Especially, everyone of my ex-girlfriends.
