When I launched this site one of the things that really took me by surprise was the amount of hate mail that I received. At first, it really got to me. It made me depressed, and made me question whether I should continue writing my observations. But then after a while I realized that if these people were taking the time out of their schedule to send me hate mail, then I must have done something right to offend them in the first place.

In anything, when you put yourself out there whether it be your thoughts, ideas or dreams you long to achieve there will always be people who disagree or are quick to criticize and judge because somewhere in all of us is a little Simon Cowell.

So, since today marks my 100th Observation since the site launched, I thought it would be fun to post some of the hate mail that I’ve received. Because the truth is you can’t let detractors get to you because the second you do, they win.

• “Dylan, I have an idea: Please permanently steralize yourself immediately. I can’t live in a world where an idiot like you is allowed to have children.”

• “Dear Dylan, I wish you had ridden your bike off of a cliff and died”

• “Dylan. You’re retarded. I’m glad you have no game with women.”

• “It is my sincere hope that ‘Dylan’ gets a clue in the next year”

• “Dylan, seriously you’re a dumbass.”

• “Snore, another shitty blogg ruining the Internet for everyone.”

• “My observation is that the problem with the Internet is that any moron can have their own website because clearly Dylan, you didn’t even graduate high school.”
