I’m watching CNN. They’re debating whether Palin or Biden won last night’s debate. For some people the answer is easy. It’s clear cut. There is a winner and a loser. But for others, like me, who earned their third grade extra credit last night for watching the debate, the answer isn’t as simple as a yes or no.

Governor Palin is everything I hate about the Christian Right. I don’t want her in office. I don’t like what she stands for. But that being said, I thought that last night she was smart, clever, funny, and witty.

Yes, she didn’t answer all of the questions, but for some reason I didn’t care. Maybe because she winked at me. Maybe because halfway through the debate, I thought “I’d like to sleep with her.” And I know I wasn’t supposed to be thinking that. I was supposed to be focused on the issues. And I tried to focus on the issues. I tried to hate her. But no matter how hard I tried to focus my mind continued to wander. Maybe it was her glasses. Maybe it was her authority. Or just the way she chided Biden.

At first I thought it was just me, and then I found this on Craig’s List this morning.
