Dear God,

When I grow up, I want breast implants, blond hair, round eyes, long legs, no body hair, and I want to be thin, really thin, not Angelina Jolie thin, but Kate Moss thin. I promise, I’ll do whatever it takes. I won’t eat, I’ll throw up after every meal, I’ll eat a box of ex-lax every night before I go to sleep. Just make me thin.

Sure it might seem like an absurd thing for an 9 year old to ask from god, but in today’s society where image is everything, more young girls are concerned with their looks then ever before.

Which might be why millions of little girls between the ages of 9 and 16 are logging on to a British website called Miss Bimbo. As part of the website, girls have to create their own virtual bimbo, but in doing so it encourages girls as young as 9 to embrace plastic surgery and extreme dieting in the search for the perfect figure. The game has attracted prebuescent girls who are told to buy their virtual characters breast enlargement surgery and to keep them “waif” thin with diet pills.

Sure, I think a 9 year old girl shouldn’t be subjected to the superficial trappings of society, but at the same point, I don’t date fat girls.
