NFL Tryouts

Last week, after meeting with a former New England Patriots employee who helped the team spy on opponents, Republican Seantor Arlen Specter described the team’s illicit videotaping tactics as more systematic and deliberate than what the N.F.L. has acknowledged publicly.

After calling into question the legitimacy of the New England Patriots 3 Super Bowl wins and 18-0 season, Senator Specter then went on to say that the league should use the videotaping scandal as a way to initiate an inquiry like the one commissioned by Major League Baseball to explore the use of performacne enhancing drugs in that sport.

There is no correlation between the videotaping scandal and steroid abuse but somehow that doesn’t seem to matter to the good Senator.

For anyone who has ever wondered how we wound up fighting a war in Iraq while Osama Bin Laden was hiding in a cave in Torra Borra all you have to do is look at Specter and his bait and switch logic and it all makes sense.

  4. Ok Guys! Not sure what this has to do with Senator Specter…..but. There are several websites set up to give you information on how to try-out for a football team. However please keep in mind that you have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than making it big in the NFL. Teams do have open try-outs when there is a need. If you are over 24 years old forget it…your highschool glory days are over!!! You need a bio and highlight dvds of recent playing time and remember the game has been changing rapidly…bigger isn’t always better. Agility and speed is the name of the game!!! If you are an enormous lineman, you can rule out arena football. If you are too old to play in the NFL or college; consider joining a fantasy league and becoming a fireman…but seriously I feel your pain and wish you well.
